Check the calendar for the current year or for next year to see if dates that you're interested in have already been booked by someone else.  The calendars show available dates for each month and are updated whenever there is a change.  Recent openings of previously booked dates are highlighted.  You may need to refresh the web page to be sure you're seeing the most current version.

House/Ranch Sitting bookings are scheduled by calendar day, not by night.  Each calendar day is charged, regardless of the time of day that services begin or end.

Local drop-in services are provided only in Pasadena, Monrovia, and Arcadia and are charged per half-hour visit.

If the dates you want are available, phone or send an email to reserve the dates for yourself.  Even if your plans are still very tentative and subject to change, it's best to get on the calendar early.

I will put you on the calendar for the dates requested.  You may pay the 50% deposit at any time, but I will hold dates for you without a deposit up until about two months before the scheduled start date or until another client asks about the same dates, whichever is sooner.  If someone else asks about the dates that you've booked, at that point I will request a 50% deposit from you to confirm and hold the dates for you.

If the dates you want appear to be unavailable, keep in mind that the scheduled reservation may not have been confirmed.  Let me know the dates you are interested in.  If the other reservation has been confirmed with a deposit, I can put you on the waiting list for the dates and will let you know right away if the dates open up.  If the other reservation has not yet been confirmed, I will contact the client and ask that a deposit be sent to confirm or release the dates, and I will then let you know the other client's decision.

The 50% deposit is not refundable if a stay is canceled less than two weeks in advance of the scheduled start date. Individual days canceled less than 24 hours in advance will be charged at full cost.

If you make a reservation, either with or without a deposit, and then your plans change, please let me know right away so that I can update my calendar and make the dates available to other clients.
