Things to tell or show the sitter:
üLocation of the food and feeding schedule for each animal.
üLocations of treats, medications, leashes, brushes, etc.
üEach animal’s play or exercise routine and schedule.
üLocation of cleanup tools and disposal routine.
üAny important medical history on each animal, including vaccination records.
üIndividual # and agency name and phone number if your animals are microchipped or tattooed.
Be sure the agency has your current contact information.
üAny quirks of individual animals—like a tendency to bolt out the door when opened, ability to open a closed door or gate, inability to tie to a rail or post.
üFor herd care, provide a list with the total number of animals in each enclosure, the name and a brief description of each animal (and photos if possible).
üTrash pickup day and any special instructions.
üAny scheduled visits by housekeepers, gardeners, or others.
üLocation of circuit box and of main water and natural gas or propane shutoffs.
üGive the sitter all necessary keys and door/gate openers.
